Located at the corner of Atwells Avenue and Bradford Street at the entrance to Historic Federal Hill, Garibaldi Park was redeveloped by The Omni Group in the fall of 2012.

After years of under-resourcing and eventually slipping into disrepair, The Omni Group approached the City of Providence with a strategic alliance aimed at revitalizing Garibaldi Park and restoring it as the "Gateway" to Historic Federal Hill.

In July of 2012, through the use of its own capital, Omni broke ground on the reclamation project. The transformation of the Park included new landscaping, new irrigation, new lighting and construction of the Omni Pavilion; a freestanding stage to host local performing arts events.

Completed in September of 2012, the Garibaldi Park grand re-opening and ribbon-cutting event was met with great support by community members, businesses and public officials. Its day-to-day use and enjoyment by the citizens and patrons of Federal Hill, as well as the tenants of the West Exchange Center, marks the successful efforts of this collaborative private-public partnership.
